Why drinking water affects your performance

I will also tell you at the end of this short report how much water is recommended;

Here are the bodily functions that are regulated by water intake;

The list is not exhaustive and the enumeration is simplified.

  • Water improves your mood.
  • Water strengthens your cognitive thinking.
  • Water supports your metabolism and raises your energy levels;
  • Water transports oxygen in your body;
  • Water helps skin renewal.
  • Water favours your digestion
  • Water supports your joint and fascia functions*.
  • Water helps your body to regulate its temperature;

Women should drink about 11 glasses of water, which corresponds to about 2.7 litres per day with a glass volume of about 200 – 250 ml.

Men are recommended to drink about 15 glasses of water, which corresponds to about 3.7 litres per day with a glass volume of between 200 – 250 ml.
